4nd Quarter 2007 Market Update
The Twin Cities industrial
market slowed significantly during the last half of 2007, posting
only 193,870 SF of positive net absorption during 4th Quarter.
Despite this 4th Quarter slowdown, 2007 was a good year for the
market with total annual absorption at 1,410,063 SF, up slightly
over 2006. Vacancy across the metro sits at 7.6%. On average,
transactions are taking longer than expected to close,
fueled in part by anxiety over the state’s economy. According to
